GIRLS AND DISSIMILAR BOYS by Chansona

The boys and the girls are diverse in their thinking,
But the boys take to girls when their eyes start to blinking,
Though verily differ the boys from the girls,
The boys take to cars and the girls take to pearls.

And strangely it is with such difference in them,
When the girl is a her and the boy is a him,
How they pair up together and kiss and hug tight
And haul off and marry and fuss and they fight.

WINNER OF THE JANUARY CHALLENGE.
Spring by Adele

A
tall tree
stands with heavy
bowers, nurtured by nature
and its April showers. Snowdrops
and Daffodils begin to bloom as Primrose
and bluebells jostle for more room. Vanished
now has the frosted furrowed earth, as farmers
sow for all their worth. And kaleidoscopic sun-rays begin
to gleam, while gentle breezes whisper on a babbling stream.
Cotton wool clouds float dreamily by, as meadow grasses gently sigh.
Sights and sounds that beguile, breathed on by Mother Nature’s sunny smile.

GIRAFFE LIMERICK

You would need a very long scarf
If you happened to be a giraffe
You could get very hoarse
In the winter ,of course
And a cough is no cause for a laugh .!!!
