Identical twins

Hi everyone,
Just a quick bit of news,I sent off a story about my identical twin and myself, and all the funny quirky things that have happened to us over the thirty four years of seperation, and guess what? Twins Magazine in America is publishing it in their Sept/October edition baby pictures and all.
I am a writer at last!

Oh well done that is great news. Will we be able to see it here over the pond? would love to do so.

My late husband Peter always used to say..."Never say "it's just" but we all do it don't we. Having read some of your work, I'm sure it's a lot more than "just"

Thanks English Rose for your kind comment, I have tried getting some of my childrens stories published, but it seems a hard genre to get into, specially if your not published, or if you have never been published, so at least it's a start, I will persevere until some publisher takes pity on me!

You have to keep trying, positive thinking is the thing.

Englishrose is right, you have to persevere. There are so many talented writers trying to get published. Keep at it Have you thought of self-publishing? I have a friend who is a writer and he has self-published his first two books.If you want any details I would be glad to pass them on to you. My friend's book is advertised on Amazon so it is a way to get on the ladder of success.

Many thanks Korculablue for your thoughts on writing, it is worth considering self publishing, but I think I need more feed back from my stories, before I comit to what could be quite a some of dosh. The feedback on some publishers has been encouraging,but no one wants to take an unknown.

I can send you a personal copy of the story Maggie no probs. But I need to get clearance from Twins Magazine before it is published in Sept.
