| Sometimes.......
Some times I think, sometimes I dream Of future times that may be less mean When peeps can tell the truth all day Not hide behind some smoke screen play
If all the world had listened well When John imagined and did tell Everyone that they could change The world from war to peace aint strange
Not that I was so deluded To think that all would be included For many evil plans remain Too many men are quite insane
Megalomania must be epidemic Greed is surely now systemic Commercial interests rule ever more Their power exceeds countries for sure
Ah but we few long for more cooperation and love to endure Mesmerised by beauty that transcends The cheats and bullies and poor pretence
Come to dance amongst the trees We can join the birds and bees Avoid the traps of urban wares Strip away those worldly cares
Circle round a simple fire Nothing more than root desire Poise and grace and passions freed Indulge in just our basic needs
Hold the torches for the other Maybe we can still yet discover What man once did have to leave When he first chose to deceive
Sometimes I dream......

Wondrous ViewKiss my sleeping eyelids Bring me back into the light You always are the first one To wake from every nightBreakfast in the bedroom With coffee steaming hot Bacon and fried mushrooms Oh you do spoil me a lotLater in the garden Digging up the weeds Trimming all the bushes Planting our new seedsYou clutch your back and hobble Calling out my name I'm soon there to support you Comfort you from painNext I run the hot tub And help you to get in Gently give your neck a wash Then pat you dry againI cherish many moments That we have spent like this You produce the breakfast I massage you and kissYour lovely sleeping eyelids As I settle next to you And before I turn the lights out I bless this wondrous view
Red
He stood gazing down at the woman Dispassionate as the red life fluid Drained slowly away from her Body quiet, still, torpid
She lay there relinquishing her blood His thoughts were not for her state Rather he dwelt upon the clinical facts The need that her loss would sate
Soon it was all over The flow ceased The man bent over her And spoke
'Just wait ten minutes before you get up' He advised in a dull monotone And as he extracted the needle 'Tea and biscuits in the next room'
