Yet another quiet bingo evening last night. Hopefully things change once the children back at school & the holiday season finshed.

My daughter had a letter yesterday from Leo's ( aged 7yrs) consultant and the diagnosis is Dyspraxia & Asberger traits. Very sad to see it in black & white but this should now help with school and other areas. Next week will be difficult as its back to school and a different teacher. Leo hates change, gets very stressy !!!!

Back at the rugby club on Thursday as the fornightly bingo starts again. Nearly got all the prizes for this week

It was the rugby club fun day yersterday to raise money for help the heroes. I ran a bingo session & Tombola and raised £150 . The weather was really hot yesterday & I think a lot of people went to the beach as it wasn't as busy as I thought it would be but never mind.

Our local rugby club is holding a Fun day to raise funds for help the heroes so Ive been ask to run a bingo session in the afternoon. Wonder if we will have big burly rugby players playing bingo

It was a very damp fun day today but we decided to brave the weather & had our Tombola stall. Not so many people there but we made £59.00 for the hospital, so that was better than a poke in the eye with a dead fish

Had our appointment with the consultant today Leo my grandson aged 6yrs diagnosed with Dyspraxia & very likely Asbergers syndrom ( within the autistic spectrum ). We had all guessed this was probably the case but still hard when up to now its been called a learning delay. The only good thing is now we will be able to get more info on how to deal with all the problems.

Have gone back to the flat shoes I was wearing before my foot started playing up a few months ago & my foot not so bad. Its not completely better but may take a bit of time.

I think the problem maybe down to me being shorter on my right side due to the polio. Perhaps the Dr is right after all . The problem will arrive when I need to replace these shoes. Ive tried on every pair of shoes in the charity...

Went to Jenna's school presentation last night. It was all a surprise, she couldn't understand why she had to go back to school at 6pm . She got personality of the year for year 2 & had to go up on stage and collect a silver cup so was some pleased with herself.

Had a fish & Chip lunch today with Mum Also spent ages in the craft shop, got things to make xmas cards ( It will be here before we know it!!! )

Had a good turn out for bingo & lots of things donated for our next Tombola stall at the fun day. Someone donated a bottle of Brandy for a bingo prize

The rugby club are organising a fun day to raise money for help the heroes they have asked me if Ill do a short bingo session. Of course Ive said yes.

Have booked a stall for Victoria Park fun day on the 1st August, another tombola stall . Try & raise a bit more money. Its a good day if the weather is okay. Live music, lots of stalls and best of all a beer tent

According to the forcast it should be dry tomorrow . Just packed seaweed, shells & put my big mermaid ready to decorate the stall tomorrow. Someone sugested I dress up as a mermaid

Bingo tonight at Redruth Rugby club. Got all the prizes except a beef dinner which I will get today. Fingers crossed we have plenty there.

Went with my grandson ( special needs ) yesterday to the dentist he needs fillings but has to get used to the dentist first so a new toothbrush,sticker and trying out the light and suction equipment himself yesterday. Back again next Monday think it will be a slow process. What a brilliant dentist.

My eldest daughter bought the children a guinee pig each for Easter. Both females. Leo called his Elenor & Tinita's was Taylor

Last Wednesday my daughter went out to feed them and hey presto there were 5 babies ( one baby dead). Knowing not a lot about guinee pigs my daughter dashed to the pet shop for advice on her return there were two more babies!!! Sadly since then one more baby has died.

We think the guinee pigs must have been pregnant when my daughter bought them. Luckily homes have...

Great day yesterday, Chelsea got some books. No trousers for me just two garden ornaments, a frog & an old granny of the garden . Cycle races in Exeter city centre yesterday. I decided not to join in as I might have shown the others up

The numbers coming to Bingo seem to be increasing and the rugby club are brilliant & still not charging us rent for the room. Hopefully we will soon be back to normal and able to donate some money to the hospital & also give a donation to the Rugby club.

warm and sunny today in Cornwall. Expect the beaches are packed. I shall be in the garden later resting my poor old foot. Gone back on the Rosehip tablets again, supposed to be good for arthritus.

A very damp Cornwall today. Doing my full day in the charity shop today & checking out some prices on some old money thats been donated. Silver threepenny's and old penny's plus a few half penny's. I'd forgotten how big the old penny's were.

Booked to go on a mystery coach trip on Sunday with a friend, really looking forward to a day out. With not driving I'm a bit restricted so it will be nice to escape

Walked from St Uny across the Great Flat Lode yesterday, St Uny church was looking beautiful with all the primroses and bluebells just starting to come out. Such a lovely old church full of history.

Bingo was a little busier last night. The Rugby club are not going to charge us for the room for the next month so that will hopefully give us time to build up the numbers a bit.

Have Bingo at the Rugby Club on Thursday night. Think it will be decision time as to whether it continues or not. The Rugby club will want to charge for the room and so we need plenty of people there to cover the out goings!!!

Getting things organised for next weeks bingo at Redruth Rugby Club. Bought some prizes and will put the raffle together tonight. Fingers x we get more people coming. Ive advertised on both local radio stations & newspaper also put out posters.

Not a huge success but we are going to do another bingo night on the 29th April, hopefully with more advertising we will get more people there next time.

The Easter Fair was a bit disapointing, think the venue was a mistake a bit tucked out of the way. We made £51 which I know is better than nothing but was hoping to make more. Never mind hopefully the next event will raise more.

Looks like we may have a rail strike, I am glad I went to Exeter last Tues. Even though there was no rail strike the train was still 30 minutes delayed due to signal prob's. Last month the same delays & being herded like cattle & we are encouraged to use public transport

Its book day today at school and my grandaughter going as The little Mermaid. Found a long green dress in the dressing up box & a turquoise flower for her hair & got some pearls in the charity shop. Glittery shoes & she is sorted If I managed to take a photo Ill post it on the forum.
