NIGHT VISION by Mike ~ The stars came down on us that night creating a low ceiling, We tasted mists of morning reeling through the pines. A spark from some untended pyre burned truly in the middle air. Once stoked finely by the host of human tread, It bled, refined into a rapier before our eyes. Been trying to write a poem about not being able to write a poem but, it seems to have neutralised and imploded.
