BEAUTIFUL NIGHT by Sunshine - Its dark and cold not much light So I find my joy in the sky to night A big round moon with his face so bright Giving us warmth on this winter night Beautiful stars that sparkle and shine All most stand still as if lost in time Such a beautiful place this world can be If we look around the wonders we see Night has its beauty as much as the day The silence a bonus as we here the trees sway And as the world sleeps I await the new day Praying and dreaming of love ones far away. ~ Written by Sunshine.......

Hi Suzie,

It does sound a bit fishy doesn't it. Anyway, you have a nice break. Maybe you can sell raffle tickets in the charity shop for the hospital, we have one round here that does that.

Take care,

Adele.

Hi Adele

Someone within the legion has set up a cash only bingo on Tues evenings so of course all proceeds go to the legion. I wonder if thats why I was squeezed out!! According to one lady who went. There was only 28 people there so it wasn't very good. Also they liked to have gift prizes as well as cash prizes. Anyway I have made up my mind that i won't look for another venue. I have done it for years so nice to have a break

Hi Suzie,

Good luck with your fundraising! I preume you haven't heard anything from the Legion yet?? What a shame you had to give up the Bingo nights.
