| Mans Greed
This world was born in a blast of light, Sad that man, should soon lose sight. Of those who are suffering, needlesly, Of mans great greed, of those in need.
This planets change, is trying to tell, That some still live in a living hell. Some, just simply turn their head. It's not my fault, you have no bread.
Before to long, they will all be dead. What's the use, I've heard it said. Man, take note of what you do, You still have time, you know you do.
Mankind take heed of what happens here, Time will come when men will sneer. It was not me, it was my peer. But heads will roll, its time to fear.
Please save this planet, a great creation. Save those hungry, and in starvation. Give the chance of life, of living. A bright new world, a new beginning.

| Well done. We all need to hear our concience. Even though it's frustrating when I write to my MP and get the usual bland partyspeak back, I won't stop. Very thoughtful and on the button. Castallaman |

| Hello Kenanstiss a poem with a strong message to the world..in order to change things we have to start with ourselves, our families, our neighbourhood and the ripples will go out...it just takes one person to make a stand and be that example. In the meantime we can each do our part to show we care...writing to the MP as a single person might not hold much sway, but publish it in the local paper or anthology (lol) and your voice will gather strength..then the MP has to take notice. Well done on getting published! Orcadia _________________ Aspire to inspire..before you expire!

| Thank you Orcadia for your kind words, if only more people were less greedy, we wouldn't be in the sad financial difficulties we are in now, billions of anything, could help so many poor throughout the world. |

| Thanks Ghetto for stopping by and your comment, there is so much people can do to help those in need, just wish the govenments of the world could get it together, like they do when they find themselves stuck in a financial crisis, shame on all of them. |
