Hello Folks I have finally got my computer back from repairers after a lot of heated phone calls it took them 5 weeks to repair a simple fault They said that they were in dispute with their couriers and that it would take two weeks to arrange pick up from the store
I am sure that if any reasonable ompany were having that trype of problem they would consider changing their courier company so beware of dealing with the tech guys at PC world
however it is good to be back and I hope you are all in good health and scribbling well

had a great time in peterborough met a lot of poets from all over the UK did not win but the winner really deserved it so look forward tonext years competition (if I am spared and fit ) thanks to you all for your support it means a lot when you are aware that you have

Was pleased ro hear tat the proposed rail strike was to trake place after Easter as I have to travel by rail to peterborough on Easter Saturda and return on Easter Sunday
Beginning to get a bit jittery about the finals but stage nerves are a usual feeling that I get prior to readings ,however they usually disappear when I start to read ,hope that does not change this time

I just felt that I should share my good news with you all
This week I received a letter from

Forward Press who have published a lot of my poems and short stories over the years.
They run an annual competition for poet of the year ,this year they had over 7,000 entries and I have reached the final 50 so I havwe been invited to Peterborugh to read in the final which takes place on Saurday 3rd April and have accepted the invitation I feel really pleased about this and felt that I should post the news
