Well I can feel the spring its making evenings light

Making me feel wonderful loving and so bright

Waking with a new beginning as the sun shines down on me

Making me so happy wonderful and free

Lighthearted now with a spring approaching fast

Knowing now my lovely friends it will surely last

Walking along the river and enjoying what is here on earth

Knowing how wonderful and what its really worth.

Fantasy or reality life can tell its own tale

Like living in wonderland with love we cannot fail

I dream I am in your arms on the beach of true desires

Oh my lovely love you set my soul on fire

Only the breeze to keep us company and the ripple of the tide

Standing their together always side by side

Kissing under the setting sun and your embrace that keeps me warm

When you really need someone can you sacrifice your ways

Will you be their for the long run or will you run and stray

Please do not forget what we shared and said

Especially when lying their in with these thoughts going through my head

Maybe it is to much for one to cope and bare

But really needed someone to ease and my pain to share

Now I will fight and fight this battle with such force

Maybe one day soon you may feel some remorse

The Points of the Compass

The most southerly point in this wonderful land

Is The Lizard or Land’s End

Surrounded by blue seas and sand

Its charm and beauty into one do blend

The most westerly point Ardnamurchan Point, Argyll

With the lighthouse looking out to mountains and sea

Twixt the islands of Eigg, Mull and Skye to beguile

A place of true peace and tranquillity.

The most northern point is Dunnet Head

The wild rugged beauty of this coast

So Sad(arostic)

See the soldiers going to war

Ordinary lads,the boy next door

See them come back home dead

Dads and mums tears are shed

Thought I was going very much deranged

Naughty and nasty messages kept coming in my box

Some were really horrible wish my phone to lock

Speaking to my friend munchskins saying are you off your head

Sending these aweful messages while I was in my bed

He said are you feeling ok These messages I did not send

He thought like I did that I was round the bend

Why do we have to choose its an aweful thing to do

Whether its a choice between a friend or too

Never really liked the word because I might get it wrong

Then I know forever I will never sing this song

Perhaps if this word was not invented then it would be alright

Or maybe if should or turn into a fight

But the word choices can mean many things some are nice as well

But I will not tell you mine I wont kiss and tell

Searching and yearning for what we want and more

But sometimes we cannot have what we truely yearn

So really must now move and another page to turn

I loved you in my heart I love you in my soul

Never will forget you no one will fill the hole

Now with meditation and the love thats all around

Still makes my heart to beat and its so profound

The Letter.

She knelt down to pick up the envelope which had dropped on to the doormat and, with trembling hands, ripped it open and unfolded a sheet of paper, smoothing it out on the coffee table she was surprised to see there was nothing written on it; it was just a blank piece of paper. She was about to throw it into the litter bin in disgust when

she was astounded to find copperplate handwriting beginning to appear, the date in the top right hand corner read 1899. Smiling she whispered ...

On such a day as this….

…..blue sky fell overboard becoming sea.

The sky above looked down and saw it’s beauty,

Such a blueness as there had never been.

On such a day as this…

… the cliffs shrugged their massive shoulders,

Saying “let it be, we will watch over it”

It will caress us with it’s symphony.

On such a day as this…

…I looked upon such beauty sharing it with you,

And knew that , sharing , made the blueness such a hue,

It had become the true, true gossamer of dreams.

NO VALENTINE CARD FOR ME[

On 14th February ever since I was fifteen

I used to stand in front of the mirror and preen.

I’d stand by the letterbox in anticipation

I’d show the boys that I was pretty and keen

Oh joy a card came through the door

My mum beat me to pick it up off the floor

I took it up into my room, the only one I ever had.

I held it to my chest, the card was covered with kisses galore.

The years went by and I met my love

I knew I was his turtle dove

But he would never ...

On Falling in Love

It was long ago

And far from here

On a night I shall never forget

That I danced in the arms of a man called Joe;

Ah, yes, I can feel him yet.

We danced and danced

And we laughed a lot,

And then we just sat for a while,

'til little by little

The wine and the waltz

Were obscured by the warmth of his smile.

Our fingers touched,

Then drew away,

My body had turned to fire,

A sideways glance,

His eyes held mine,

There, too, was the same desire.

We sat together,

Magical colours and creatures that share my underwater home

My beautiful fellow marine friends so never on my own

The fish and the dolphins who play with me all day long

Come out to join me and also sing my song

Swimming into deeper waters I come across the whales
