NIGHT VISION by Mike ~ The stars came down on us that night creating a low ceiling, We tasted mists of morning reeling through the pines. A spark from some untended pyre burned truly in the middle air. Once stoked finely by the host of human tread, It bled, refined into a rapier before our eyes. We strained to grasp the pattern of its flight But lost our vision to the fading night. Written by Mike.......

The Gazunda

We used to 'ave a 'gazunda'
That thing that went under t'bed
One day they went out o' fashion
Or that's what me mother said!

We 'ad to go to the 'privvy'
Twas e'r sa cold on a night
I'd wander out in me jim jam's
My oh my - oh what a sight.

The kids o' today are so lucky
There's not many 'Privvy's left
They've got all their comforts
With nowt under t'bed!

oh
Cath I love it and it is so funny and yet I can relate to it. We too used to use "potties" and I remember well we have two mauve ones!! We were moving to a house across the road and |I was carrying one under a cloth so no one could see it. If tripped and tell and the potty went rolling up the garden for everyone to see. the darn thing did not even get a chip in it. We had them for years. I even have one in my front room with gollies on (as I collect them) and it is useable if needed

I love this and thanks for the great memories.
