BEAUTIFUL NIGHT by Sunshine - Its dark and cold not much light So I find my joy in the sky to night A big round moon with his face so bright Giving us warmth on this winter night Beautiful stars that sparkle and shine All most stand still as if lost in time Such a beautiful place this world can be If we look around the wonders we see Night has its beauty as much as the day The silence a bonus as we here the trees sway And as the world sleeps I await the new day Praying and dreaming of love ones far away. ~ Written by Sunshine.......

PostManners maketh man!

Good morning all from sunny Bedford, yes it actually is at the moment! Got soaked yesterday, certain people in town seemed very bad-tempered and I nearly got knocked over by an ignorant pig of a man barging past me, shouting that I was taking up all the pavement - I was sheltering from the elements in a shop doorway at the time with several others, struggling to get my umbrella down, with my arthritic fingers. Why he couldn't have gone round me the other side of the pillar or just politely said "excuse me please" beats me! Feel better now after my Sunday moan!

Some times it happens Ann, but there is no excuse for not using manners.

Thanks Ladybug, he certainly was lacking in that department and he was no spring chicken himself either.

Aw! Ann! It never ceases to amaze me how ...some people ---think that they have a 'divine right' to be anywhere, and everyone else is just in their way!!!
How happy the place would be if everyone had regard for others and that uncommon commodity 'common courtesy'.
Why, the crazy old coot ! bet he had a 'lovely' day spreading the venom of human irritation where ere he roamed ... Ioloa

Thanks Ioloa, maybe we should have a national courtesy day - that is if we haven't already!

Hi Anna

Wow how you have reminded me of my school days. At my first school where you stayed until you were 15 back then, our Head Teacher used to drum into us !Manners maketh Man" and he was always on about good manners.

However, for some people they dont have a clue and it can be very upsetting.

THEY WALK AMONG US

I hope he gets on his head.

Some people are just so rude.

Anyway here is a frome me to you.
